What is Daywell?
Daywell (getdaywell.com) is the family prep assistant. It reads what school, daycare and activities send a parent and turns it into one list of what to have ready, and when. It's made by Daywell Labs LLC, and it is not a health, mood or hospital app.
Connect Gmail, or forward school emails from any inbox to your Daywell address.

How Daywell helps
It's for busy parents keeping up with school, daycare and after-school activities, often for more than one kid. Invite a partner and you both see the same list. Invite a helper, like a nanny or a grandparent, and they see the cards for the kids you pick. On the iPhone and Android apps, one quiet reminder comes each morning, at a time you pick. On iPhone, Android and the web. Made by a working parent.
Questions parents ask
Is Daywell safe? Does it read my Gmail?
Read-only, and your data is never sold.
Gmail access is read-only. Daywell can't send, delete or change anything. To decide which emails matter, Daywell uses only the sender and subject line. Only emails about school, daycare or activities are read in full. No ads, and your data is never sold. You can delete your account and everything Daywell holds, any time.
Does Daywell use AI on my emails?
Yes, Claude finds the to-dos. Anthropic doesn't train on them.
Those emails pass through Anthropic's Claude to find the to-dos. Anthropic does not train on them, and Daywell does not keep the emails, except one you forward yourself that turns up nothing, for up to 7 days so Felix, Daywell's help cat, can read it again.
What does Daywell keep?
The to-dos it finds, never your inbox.
Daywell keeps the to-dos it finds, with the sender, subject, date and a few sentences of the email, never your inbox. An email you forward yourself that turns up nothing is kept for up to 7 days so Felix, Daywell's help cat, can read it again, then deleted.
How does Daywell work?
Connect Gmail, forward emails, or share flyers.
Connect Gmail once, read-only. Daywell looks at your recent email, usually the last 10 days, and picks out the messages from school, daycare and activities. Not on Gmail? Forward school emails to your own Daywell address, one at a time or automatically. Snap a flyer, or share a screenshot, a PDF or a copied text message, and Daywell reads it. Paste a team or school calendar link once, and Daywell keeps those events up to date.
When does Daywell read new email?
When you open it, and usually each morning on phones.
Daywell reads new school email when you open the app, and the iPhone and Android apps usually read again each morning before your reminder.
Which school and team apps does it work with?
Gmail, forwarded email, and apps like ParentSquare and TeamSnap.
Your Gmail, and any inbox you forward school emails from. School apps such as ParentSquare and Remind once you turn on their emails. Team apps such as TeamSnap and GameChanger through their calendar link. For messages that only reach you as phone alerts, share the post or a screenshot to Daywell.
Is Daywell free?
Yes, while it's in early access.
