My daycare uses Lillio. How do I keep up with the daily reports and messages?
Lillio was formerly HiMama. In the Lillio app, parents and family members can view photos, videos, daily reports and schedules. Open the app each day, and ask your center if sleep and meals are missing.
For a Lillio update, take a screenshot and share it to Daywell from your phone, or add it in Daywell on the web.
What to do
- Make sure Lillio has your right email. Once your daycare adds you on Lillio, you get a Welcome email with instructions to create your account; check your spam/junk folder, and if you're not in the system, ask your center to check the email it entered.
- Open the daily report in the app each day. In the Lillio app, parents and family members can view photos, videos, daily reports and schedules.
- Message the center from the app. In the Lillio app, you message your child care provider from the envelope icon.
- If sleep and meals are missing, ask. Lillio lets a center hide sleep and food information until the day's report is finalized, and says to discuss seeing it in real time with your center.
- Make a Gmail filter for the emails. In Gmail, make a filter for your school, daycare and activity senders and have it label them "School". Add the center's sender to it. Choose Skip the Inbox (Archive it) only if you'll open that label every day.
- Write the task down. Once a week, read the label and the daily reports together and pull out the date, the ask and which child, like "Bring a water bottle, Thursday, Ellie".
How Daywell helps
Daywell, the family prep assistant, does that reading and list-making for you. Connect Gmail once, read-only. Daywell looks at email and picks out the messages from school, daycare and activities. Take a screenshot of the message, then share it to Daywell from your phone, or add it in Daywell on the web. With any email service, forward school emails to your Daywell address and Daywell reads them. One list of what's coming up, which child it's for, and what to bring, sign or pay. On the iPhone and Android apps, one quiet reminder comes each morning, at a time you pick. Invite a partner and you both see the same list.
Questions parents ask
How do I get Lillio reports into Daywell?
Take a screenshot of the message, then share it to Daywell from your phone, or add it in Daywell on the web.
Why can't I see my child's nap and meals right away?
Lillio lets a center hide sleep and food information until the day's report is finalized, and says to discuss seeing it in real time with your center.
How do I change the email my daycare's updates go to?
To change the email address your daycare's updates go to, log into Lillio and choose My Settings to enter and confirm your preferred email address.
I never got the Lillio Welcome email.
Once your daycare adds you on Lillio, you get a Welcome email with instructions to create your account; check your spam/junk folder, and if you're not in the system, ask your center to check the email it entered.
How do I message my daycare in Lillio?

A form or flyer came home from daycare.
Share a PDF or a picture to Daywell and it reads it, on every device.
I use Outlook or another email, not Gmail. Can I still use Daywell?
Yes. From any inbox, forward school emails to your own Daywell address, one at a time or automatically.
Does Daywell read all of my email?
No. It looks only at who each email is from and its subject, and skips what Gmail files under Promotions, Social and Forums. It opens the ones it judges to be from school, daycare or activities. If it can't tell from the sender and subject, it opens that one too rather than risk missing it. The privacy policy explains what is kept and for how long.
How do I get Daywell?
It's in invite-only early access. Join the waitlist on getdaywell.com and we'll send one email when your spot opens. It's free while in early access.
